Artist

This week the artists worked on the creation of the props for the Donut’s storyline scenes as well as creating the different combinations of the body parts for all of the scenes. Ray finished the textures of these props and Hagan worked on cleaning up the motion data for each of the different body parts for and finished the combinations for all of the Scene 1 animations. The artists also worked with the programmers to finalize what the pipeline looks like for the implementation of the content into the current project. Below is the demonstration of the animation with the help of the programmers on the implementation as well as the extra textures needed.

Programmer

The programmers this week on three main factors. First, assisting the UI Designers with playtesting demos; they added some ground visualization to inform the player when the app is detecting. They also added virtual 3D triggering objects standing on the ground/floating in the air to inform the players what to look for. They are working with the UI Designers to see which hinting system is more functional. Second, they are working on the mix and match. Currently. they have a working UI, but the part that they load according to the player’s choice is still a work in progress. Finally, the programmers are working to implement the characters from the artists into Unity and implementing functions such as recording last time played and developing the mix and match system.

UI/UX Designer

The UI/UX Designers worked with the programmers this week to come up with another user flow chart of the experience as well as two new organizations of the interface with the hints of what users can search for in different ways. They planned some more playtesting this week to showcase more of what makes the app function behind the scenes to see if that would make the users more aware of what they can and cannot scan to watch another experience from the virtual neighborhood. The UI/UX Designers also created two different appeals for the Mix and Match interface with more references from Andy Warhol and another more simplistic design.
