This week, we started working on our logo and here are the results.

Deciding Ideas

We talked about the 16 ideas we came up last week and after detailed discussions, we narrow down our ideas into three: Dungeon Museum, Miasma, and Weathering

Dungeon Museum:

Player decides to open a museum. They also acts as an adventurer who visits and explores dungeons, defeats monsters, loots treasure to decorate his unique museum to attract visitors and make money.

Miasma:

Player leads three NPC teammates to survive and pave through the dangerous fog (dangerous monsters living inside) using various tools and resource management. 

Weathering:

A narrative-driven Metroidvania game in a post-apocalyptic dune world that utilizes time control as a game mechanic. 

Pitching Ideas for the First Time

After we polish the 3 ideas, we pitched them to the Subject Expert, and received feedbacks. We focused too much on the game mechanics, neglecting the story and narrative aspects of the game. Therefore, we will spend the weekend to develop the narrative, and pitch it again next Monday.
