Yufei Chen

3D Artist

Yufei Chen is a 3D artist with a foundation in traditional art, painting, and drawing. She graduated from the University of Washington with a major in fine art. Later she learns to combine the technical expertise with artistic sensibility to create digital visuals. Her current main focus is on 3D character modeling.

Nellie Tonev

Producer, Programmer, Game Designer

Nellie is a software engineer, game designer, and producer with an interdisciplinary educational background from Carnegie Mellon University, where she majored in cognitive science and human-computer interaction while additionally studying game design and computer science. She focuses on designing and developing games for both traditional and non-traditional platforms, with a particular passion for crafting puzzles, narrative experiences, and educational projects.

Ye Wei

UI/UX Designer

Ye Wei is a UI/UX designer, UX researcher, and game designer with a background in industrial design. He specializes in uncovering design insights through data analysis and creating user-friendly experiences through gamification and inclusive design. With strong rapid prototyping skills, he quickly tests hypotheses and iterates on impactful solutions. By blending data-driven insights with human-centered design, Ye Wei strives to build innovative and accessible experiences that enhance user interaction and engagement.

Yuchen Xue

Programmer, Game Designer

Game designer & programmer with over 4 years of experience in Unity game development. Participated in
multiple game projects and has extensive teamwork experience as programmer, game designer, and project manager.

Junru Yang

Producer, Narrative Designer

After 7 years of working as a Software Developer, Software UX Designer, and Software Project Manager, Junru decided to further develop her skills in the Game Industry. She is now a game producer and a game designer at the ETC. She is capable of writing stories and sometimes do art.

Minghao Zhou

Technical Artist

Minghao is a technical artist with a focus on rigging, procedural generation and 3D pipeline. He graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Art, specializing in 3D animation and game development.

Mike Christel

Instructor

Mike is interested in the development and evaluation of transformational games, especially in the areas of education and health care. Mike joined the ETC Faculty in 2008, moving from Carnegie Mellon’s Computer Science Department where he was working at the intersection of speech recognition, image processing, and multimedia interface development and evaluation. As a member of the Informedia Digital Video Library research team, he received the Allen Newell Award for Research Excellence. Before that, from 1987 to 1997 he worked at the Software Engineering Institute at CMU. Mike received his Ph.D. from Georgia Tech in 1991 with a thesis examining dynamically generated digital video interfaces. Entertainment builds from experiences, and Mike loves to travel with his family, having enjoyed each of the 50 states in the U.S. on various journeys.
