Final Build

We spent this week adding the last few finishing touches and refinements to our build, so it could be ready to showcase for the end of the semester. We added a start screen to the experience, fixed the AR spawning function to allow for better resetting, and fine-tuned the content in our game.

On our map, we added the “did you know?” panels for each key location in our scenes, where some spots had multiple that the player could swipe through and read. As the player unlocked more scenes, the map would populate with more of these informational panels.

Playtesting

On Tuesday night, we tested once more at Hunt Library to get final feedback on last-minute polish tasks we could complete, as well as seeing the complete experience getting played from end to end.

Next Steps

Now that the build is finalized, all that’s left is preparing for our final presentation next week and wrapping up the project!
