Programmer, Technical Artist

Ezra is a technical artist and programmer. His focus has primarily been realtime and interactive mediums, with an interest in pushing interaction and visual fidelity to better convey narrative. Ezra’s prior work includes character sculpting, rigging, and animation for an AR experience about Fred Shuttlesworth and his role working with Martin Luther King Jr during the Freedom Rides through Birmingham.

Shuozhi (Sean) Shen

Designer

Shuozhi is an experience designer with architecture background, focusing exploring the intersection of architectural spatial design with XR and location based experience designs. Level design in open-world video games is also his area of post graduate studying.

Charles Johnson

Faculty Advisor

For nearly three decades Charles has worked at the intersection of human performance, design, technology and manufacturing creating both analog and digital products for the sports, fashion, active lifestyle and gaming sectors.

Armed with a design degree from the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon and the IDSA Merit Award for his graduating class, Charles’ professional starting point as a product designer has transformed to executive level leadership shaping vision, teams and strategies for global brands.

Ralph Vituccio

Faculty Advisor

Ralph Vituccio is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), as well as teaching in the IDeATe and the English Departments at CMU. At the ETC, Ralph lead a number of award-winning student interactive projects dealing with social issues such as an interactive graphic novel addressing sexual assault on college campus and a Virtual Reality interactive experience exploring racial profiling which was presented at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
