This week, we are working on 1/4 presentation. The feedback received from the presentation led us to think about our current designs and how to make them better. By the end of the week, we double-checked with Mary Frances on the information we have gathered so far. We also generated a list of hardware that we should purchase for the designs to work, getting ready to start the Prototype Production.
1. 1/4 Presentation (Quarter)
In the 1/4 Presentation, we showed our project goal, clients overview, as well as our initial designs. For more details, please refer to the 1/4 Presentation Slides.
The feedback we received from the professors made us rethink some of our designs because a few designs do not play into the scope we have right now (lacking time and budget)
2. Research updated
Timeline Updated
We brought most of our current research about John Hurt to Mary Frances, and she pointed out the majority of the information we received on the internet is wrong. This includes an article by Smithsonian Magazine. The team and Mary sat down over the phone and double-checked all the information we gathered so far and corrected them all so we can move forward with Content Planning.
For a reference of how the information online about John Hurt is wrong, please refer to the notes we took on the previous timeline when we were meeting with her.
3. Preparation for production
A list of Hardware
- RP4
- Power supply for RP4
- USB SD Card Reader
- SD Card for RP4
- Mini Hmdi Cable (15 feet should be enough?)
- NFC HAT
- NFC Tokens for read/write
4.Plan for Next Week:
- Compile the actual timeline based on the true story and use that as a reference point to create content.
- Hardware Prototyping: the initial input system and test load videos.
- Present the current designs (2) to the clients.
- Confirm an art style for the content we are going to produce.
