Week 12 – November 27, 2022

Build 1.2.0

This week is a short one at the ETC due to the holiday here in the United States. This week we met with our faculty advisors and put some final touches on some work to go into Build 1.2.0. This will be our newest build with most everything in place before the end of the semester. The biggest additions are the new inspectable items and final characters, their textures, and animations. We’ve recorded a full game playthrough of the build to aid with softs coming up this week. Feel free to take a look at the full video below though if you want to experience the game yourself I recommend waiting for the final release of the game.

Please note that this is a WIP build with some known bugs and unfinished visuals. Though we hope it gives the best look yet at the full experience.

Looking Into Next Week

  • Softs
    • Wednesday we have 20-minute slots in the morning with Mike Christal, Drew Davidson, and Carl Rosendahl
    • Then we have full playthroughs with our consultants Ricardo Washington and Ralph Vituccio
  • More bug fixing and Look Dev
  • Research and preparation to submit our game to festivals and competitions
  • Updating the Call to Action page on the website
  • The first meeting about Final Presentations
