This week marked the official start of the project. The team focused primarily on narrative exploration and preliminary research.

We conducted extensive research on the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, reviewing a wide range of references to ground our story in reality. The writing team completed the first draft of the opening section of the script, establishing an initial narrative framework.

On the design side, we began early level design explorations based on the emerging story.

Art & Tech Art:

Tech art initiated fracture and destruction effect tests
Environment art began modeling the first batch of base assets

Overall, this week transitioned the project from concept to a more actionable direction.
