Welcome to the last week for Little Big Engineers! On Friday of this week, from 6-10pm, we welcomed guests to our project room to experience Return of the Dragon, our interactive walkthrough attraction. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves- plenty of last-minute work got us to this point!
This week, we finally locked down several elements of the design that were really frustrating! We were able to make progress on several things that we’re confident will actually end up being used. It really did feel like we made weeks worth of progress in just a few days by setting aside time to nail the story.
This week we conducted a paper playtest, received a variety of feedback, and made huge progress in several different domains of the project. We struggled to integrate all of the pieces of progress together into one cohesive whole, but by the end of the week, we felt much more confident for week 6.
This week saw a lot of much-needed progress in the story, art, and programming domains of the project! Our interaction design and set design are starting to coalesce as well, and will determine the direction for our progress going forward.
