Muru Chen
Programmer

Muru Chen is an experienced programmer and game designer. Driven by her game design passion, she takes pride in providing the best code possible. As a game programmer, her goals include making efficient tools and making game designs come true. In addition to her primary job functions, Muru Chen has been recognized by colleagues and teammates for her extraordinary commitment to work hard.

Yuchen (Robin) Xie
Programmer

Robin is an interactive engineer passionate about gameplay and procedural generation. She has a computer science background and is hoping to dig deeper into the VR/AR games during her studies in the ETC. She hopes to become a gameplay engineer post graduation.

Hui Feng

Technical Artist

Hui has a strong passion for the game industry and wants to become a technical artist. She loves problem-solving and coding, making great-looking game graphics, and all things that combine technology and art. She is especially interested in computer graphics, game development, shader creation and optimization, rendering pipelines, tools development, and modeling and texturing.

Lourdes Karas is the Director of the Center for Arts and Education at West Liberty University. She has extensive experience in the administration, design, evaluation and implementation of programs for children and adults in community and school settings.

Ruth Comley
Associate Teaching Professor
Entertainment Technology Center

Ruth Comley is an educator that has been teaching undergrad and graduate classes for 26 years in the areas of digital art, experience design and project management. She has a Specialized Associates degree in Industrial Design, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters of Entertainment degree in Entertainment Technology.

Currently Ruth is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Carnegie Mellon University where she teaches classes in Project Production, Digital Art and Experience Design. She is also a Founding Member of Stage and Steel Productions and an active Board member of Striplight Community Theater. There she designs and produces seasonal festivals and events while also writing, producing, and directing theatrical plays.
