V1 runs on Android
The build is packaged as an APK, installed on an Android phone, and talking to the live backend. The first joint test between the two passed on Sep 23.
The run, end to end:
Audition → Home → Interview → Styling → Recording → Senior idol → your video
Playtest 1 is Monday, Sep 29. That’s what this week was for.

A world you can scroll
The game needed somewhere for your video to go, and somewhere to see that other idols exist.
It’s a simulated short-video platform inside the game: 17 videos covering 16 idols, built in the formats a real feed actually has: fancams, stage performances, MV trailers, practice-room clips, duet challenges. You scroll it like you’d scroll the real thing.
The wardrobe, and the way you stand
The styling room is fully stocked. The look library is complete across every style. Whichever direction you lean, you can now build a full outfit rather than running out of options halfway. There’s also a surprise draw, with some items you can only get by luck.
Your personality now reaches the artwork. The producer interview produces a personality report, and those results now feed into how your idol is posed and what expression they hold. Same wardrobe, same character, different bearing depending on who you turned out to be.

Ready for Monday
Playtest 1: Sep 29, thirty-seven people, on Android.
Two signals we’re actually after:
“Mine.” How much did the character feel like yours? 1–5.
“Show your work.” Is there someone specific you’d show this to?

We will bring our own playtest device.

Weekly Progress Report
Meeting Notes:
- Account for singing privacy: players have to sing or speak aloud, which is exposing in a shared room. Factor this into how the session is run.
- Add a self-identity step before the styling room: New step covering skin tone, eye color, default hair, and height
- Commercialization possibilities:
- The song’s second life: real social media, releasing on music platforms, royalty income
- Brand placement / sponsorship
- Advertising: ad slots during waiting periods, watch-an-ad-to-unlock, pay-to-remove-ads
