Week 9 – GDC

Time: 03/20-03/26

Summary:

Attending the Game Developers Conference (GDC) is a significant event for anyone in the gaming industry. The conference was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, where we were surrounded by a diverse group of attendees, including game developers, publishers, vendors, and industry experts from around the globe.

One of the primary benefits of attending GDC is the chance to network with other professionals in the industry. Meeting other game developers, publishers, and vendors can lead to new partnerships, job opportunities, and collaborations.

We attended various sessions that covered different aspects of game development, including production, art, and design. These sessions provided us with valuable insights into new techniques and emerging trends in the industry.

The expo floor was also a highlight, allowing us to test out new games and hardware, and engage with vendors about their products and services.

Overall, attending GDC was a highly enriching experience that has inspired us to continue to create innovative and visually stunning games that push the boundaries of what is possible in the industry.
