Prototyping Weeks:
We spent the initial 4 weeks just prototyping the hardware and we wanted to explore how humans can interact differently with the physical environment.
Room Build:
We built up the core structure of our room in about a week. From there, it was mostly adding detail, lighting and decorative pieces to hide the hardware and cables in the room. We The core structure was made out of painted cardboard, but the onboarding section was made out of black 4×8 foam core.
We would’ve been able to set it up in half the time if we had used foam core from the beginning, as painting and drying, then trying to keep cardboard upright took a long time.
