Summary of the week: This week was fall break, but still our team went above and beyond for our project! We worked on preparing more items for the installation, checking on our installation tests at ETC over time for any sagging or issues, and writing team blogs.
Jiaxin worked on preparing more of the clouds for the installation. She took the base small clouds that we liked with the built in lighting/microphone and added more fluff to the outside to increase the size of the clouds to feel more appropriate in the space.
Angie came to the ETC to check on our umbrella and cloud hanging install test. We wanted to see if there would be any noticeable sag over time with our current setup. Over multiple days, there was not a major sag in the lines! Therefore, we feel positively moving forward with this setup of using fishing line to hang up our set pieces.
Charlie and Angie worked throughout the break preparing the directional speaker kits. They built a total of eight speakers and are in the process of testing them! They were assisted by Dave Purta, who answered questions on the process and helped test the speakers.
Aldora worked on researching pedestals.
Lauren worked on writing blogs and updating the team website!
