Instructors
Charles Johnson is a design and innovation executive whose nearly 30-year career bridges human performance, technology, and product development across sports, fashion, gaming, and lifestyle industries. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Design, he has led global innovation initiatives at companies such as Adidas and Puma SE while championing human-centered, performance-driven, and socially impactful design. Since joining the Entertainment Technology Center in 2023, he has focused on advancing humanistic design that connects digital and physical experiences, including mobility and human-robot interaction.
Drew Davidson is a professor, producer, and scholar focused on storytelling and transformational experiences across games, comics, and transmedia, blending academic research with industry practice. He serves as a Teaching Professor at the Entertainment Technology Center and founded ETC Press, while also previously directing the Alice Project. His work advances game studies, crossmedia communication, creativity spaces, and inclusive innovation through research, publishing, consulting, and community leadership.
