This week we further grounded the project’s core direction and gameplay loop. We clarified a complete flow from “opening a personal bank account (language/currency/identity options) → daily budget management (automatic living expenses + allocating investment funds) → rolling dice to draw daily events (with extra dice unlocked by supporting the local community) → entering a time-limited daily stock market influenced by those events → deciding how to allocate money across entertainment, community support, local donations, local business investment, or saving.” We also strengthened the mood–expense relationship (entertainment boosts mood and reduces pressure from daily spending). In parallel, we mapped key financial mindsets to the target audience’s realities (higher unbanked/underbanked likelihood, mistrust in financial systems, credit barriers, lower resilience/emergency savings), and began translating those insights into system design so the learning goals stay playable and motivating. Finally, we advanced external communication and copy readiness, setting up a stronger foundation for the next prototype iteration and client discussions.
