This week we spent most of our time mounting and wiring our parts to our playfield. On the digital side of things we refactored our dialogue system and added some new art assets. By the end of the week we were really tired so imagine how good it felt for us to finally play some pinball!
Mounting & Wiring:
We were beyond excited this week to start getting our parts on our board, we aimed to mount the most important parts first, that being the pop bumpers and the flippers. Once we had all of the posts in place we attached the rubber bands and we had pretty much a functional board (minus the two side drain holes).

But.. the playfield wouldn’t even function without Adeline! (and Enn who was there for emotional support)!

While the playfield was being built Adeline was hard at work learning how to solder, wire, hook up power supplies and more! She even prepared and mounted all of our power supplies and smaller electronic parts onto a board that we could safely bolt down to the interior of the cabinet.
Art:
We also completed our final character sprites this week! We are hoping to get them into the game next week.

Success:
After weeks of planning and a crazy sprint of putting it all together we have a machine, and we are officially ready for playtest day! We have put all of the posts on the board and right after this video was shot we installed the other two pop bumpers!
