About

Team Voxalburgh dives into Pittsburgh’s history with a fun and immersive location-based AR (augmented reality) game, designed for college students and cultural enthusiasts. This experience focuses on the city’s diverse linguistic landscape, using signs as gateways to explore its evolving culture.

Players will interact with real-world locations, using their phones to scan and uncover stories based on historical facts. The game highlights the dynamic changes in neighborhoods and the enduring cultural imprints in public spaces.

Our game connects players with the city’s hidden narratives and diverse heritage. It’s not just a game; it’s an exploration of Pittsburgh’s rich linguistic and cultural tapestry.
