I graduated from the University of Texas in Radio, Television, and Film. I have a particular interest in immersive storytelling and virtual production as well as the production side of games.
Sharon Liu – UI/UX Designer
My name is Sharon Liu. I am a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in entertainment technology, with experience in interdisciplinary design, user experience design, visual design, and production. I look forward to exploring more possibilities in the design field with Swipe Video this semester.
Qiwen Lei – UI/UX Designer
I am Qiwen Lei, the UX/UI designer on the team. I am a master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University Entertainment Technology Center. I got a BFA diploma from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing on visual communication design. I am excited to work with AMATELUS and explore more potential of utilizing SwipeVideo technology.
Xinyi Guo – UX Designer
My name is Xinyi, I’m a digital UX designer and game designer. My skills include UI/UX design, game design, 3D art, and computer programming. I’d like to explore more different user interactions and gameplay methods to facilitate learning and daily convenience.
Yilin (Lucy) Wang – Programmer
I had experience in programming in Unity engine and Unreal Engines. Besides that, I had project experience with C++, Python, Java, Lua, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I had a one-year intern experience as a game engine programmer so I am relatively more comfortable working with computer graphics-related projects.
Faculty Instructors:
Shirley J. Saldamarco is an entrepreneur, producer, and educator. She has a background in theatre from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and is a Producer for national programming at WQED-TV.
Ruth Comely is an educator, programmer, and artist. She has taught 3D computer graphics classes in both the Media Arts and Animation Department and the Game Art and Design department at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
