Wireframe

Sharon, Cherry, and Peter used the information architecture to generate wireframes in preparation for the first inside playtesting. The primary objective of the wireframes was to validate if the functions could satisfy users’ needs, and secondly, to consider the visual style that best fits ETC.

User Testing

After creating the wireframes, we conducted playtesting sessions with ETC students, faculty, and undergraduate students at the main campus. The purpose of the playtesting was to collect feedback in the initial stage of the design process and explore possible solutions to existing design problems.

Takeaway from the 1st user testing

  • It is helpful for the participants of ETC tour but the guide system is needed to be more detailed to personalized different people’s interest
  • Visual reference(like a 3D model) attract the user’s attention and navigating inside the building
