Xiao Han

Producer/Designer

Xiao is a Game Producer and Designer. During her time at the ETC, she has worked on 3 semester projects that involve both software and hardware. Last summer, she had the opportunity to work on MSG Sphere, a large-scale multiplayer experience professionally, which helped her understand mobile gaming better and made her a more effective communicator in a bigger team. She hopes she will be working on more games in the future!

Ezra Hill

Tech Artist/Programmer

Ezra is a technical artist and programmer with a specialization in tool development and 3D asset pipelines. Prior to arriving at the ETC, Ezra spent 4 years as a VR researcher at Auburn University. Ezra’s experience as a 3D generalist and VR developer serve as heavy influences for creating intuitive developer facing tools and interfaces.

Marie Leung

Artist

Marie graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Decision Science and a minor in Game Design in 2021. She is now attending the ETC as a game designer and prefers to work with emerging XR technologies. In her free time, she draws merch for artist alley, tries to learn new things without reading the instructions, and plays FFXIV to keep in touch with friends.

Nolan Pearson

Designer/ Sound Designer

Nolan Pearson is a Pittsburgh-based game designer that specializes in immersive experience design including Mixed Reality. With his professional background in UX and love of writing and games, he hopes to create believable and enlightening immersive MR experiences. Apart from working on projects, Nolan is an avid cyclist and hiker. As a hiker, he completed the 1000km pilgrimage of El Camino de Santiago in 36 days. When not enjoying the great outdoors, he enjoys reading and gaming (both video and table top), as well as practicing circus arts (read: fire eating).

Varun Girdhar

Programmer

Varun is passionate about building and working with teams in the entertainment industry. He has a background in building AR/VR/MR experiences using experimental and established technologies. At ETC he continues to solidify his understanding of game programming and game design principles, while also helping the teams organize their tasks in the capacity of a producer. He is not afraid of trying out new ideas and failing. Outside of ETC, he loves to run, workout and watch an unnecessary amount of animated/CGI movies.
