This week we have been working on our ½ presentation and a demo of our prototype. We have practiced our ½ many times including several times with our faculty advisor, Ricardo and Ralph and other faculty members.
½ Presentation
On Wednesday, we presented our current progress in front of faculty members and our peers. We talked about our party simulator prototype and why we chose to go with this direction. We also talked about the lessons we have learned and our next steps.
We have also included a tech demo.
Next Step
After the presentation, the team had a meeting to debrief our ½ presentation. For our next step, we want to build a minimal viable product that includes the following features.
- SUDs for the first time
- Player gets prompted to enter the room
- Player looks for the wallet
- Player gets prompted to return the wallet
- Player sees the dialogue choice and is able to pick one
- NPC responds to the player
